Nalane foundation is a charity project that has been introduced by the infinity arts media and Film Company on February 15th 2024. It is based in Leribe, Maputsoe. Its primary aim is to change lives by empowering the youth, giving back to the community and helping grow young talents in the acting and film industry.

It is in part managed by Teboho Phalatsi. This thoughtful project will only be set in motion two months from now. Through the project, the foundation hopes for a positive impact to various communities in more ways than one.

The Nalane foundation team put thought and intent on young girls, often financially restricted thus failing to afford cosmetic needs such as sanitary pads, “how it must be destroying them because not being able to buy what you need as a woman,” Phalatsi comments as he continues to reiterate Nalane Foundation’s initiative to come to the aid of young women and girls – giving them sanitary towel on a monthly basis to minimize challenges that come with the natural process of menstruation.

The young man says what inspired him on starting this project was his background, “people do not come from the same families, nor do those families have the same livelihood capacities.”

He announces with pride, commitments from beyond the foundation, of people who have promised to lend a helping hand in giving out donations and because of this is, “hopeful that this project will become a success. Beyond this intitiative Nalane Foundation is in the business of providing a platform for different talents to be nurtured and polished for eventual value harnessing. “

The founder of Nalane foundation, Molise khonthu says film makers in the country do not give back to the people to encourage the generation that has got talents to pursue their talents and therefore made them realise that if one uses their talent wisely, it can help them in making a living.

The foundation is named after his first film, Nalane. The foundation, through the Nalane production was able to recognize local talent and continues to ignite unison.
