PROJECT NAME: Provision of Security Services to Berea Hospital, DHMT Offices and Government Health Centers

Bidders’ Qualifications and Eligibility

Bids are invited from suitably qualified companies for Provision of Security Services for the year 2025/2026. Bidders are expected to be in compliance with tax obligation and attach valid copies of tax clearances, trader’s licenses certified at the issuing organizations. In order for a company to qualify for bidding, such company must register and pay non-refundable registration fee amounting to Two Thousand Maloti (M2000.00) The method of payment must be cash payable at Revenue Office, Berea Hospital. Bid documents are obtainable from the Procurement Unit, Berea Hospital. Additional requirements are as specified in the tender document.

There will be mandatory site visit/inspection, at the Tenderer’s own cost, on Wednesday the 12^th February 2025; Companies are expected to assemble at Lenkoane Health center at 10:00 hrs. There will also be mandatory registration after site inspection at the sites. Only companies that have attended site inspection will be allowed to obtain tender document.

Administrative Requirement

1. Valid tax clearance certified at the source.
2. Valid trader`s license certified at the source.
3. The essential equipment needed from the successful bidder will be firearms and two way radios/cell phones.
4. Certified copy of insurance that comply with tendered company name. 

Tender Submission

Original of tender response together with its three copies, marked ORIGINAL BID and COPY OF BID, each copy must be in its own separate envelope and must be put in one large sealed envelope,  bearing no identification of bidder and clearly marked “CONFIDENTIAL” “PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES TO BEREA HOSPITAL, DHMT OFFICES AND HEALTH CENTERS” And shall be deposited in the tender box at Berea Hospital, on or before 12:00 noon 06/03/2025 (closing date).Tenders will be opened on the same day at 02:00 PM at Berea Hospital Board Room in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Late bids will not be accepted. Tenders that are not clearly and correctly marked shall be disqualified. All bidders shall submit certified copies, not originals, all certified at source. All clarifications on this tender must be addressed to the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Health Berea.

The Ministry of Health Berea also reserves the right to cancel the tender before the submission or opening of tenders, postpone the tender submission/opening date and to accept or reject any or all tenders. The Ministry is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid. Consecutive terms of similar service cannot be awarded to the company exiting contract or in contract of similar nature. This will allow the competitive distribution of service to other security companies.
