He is a flexible and unpredictable talent, actively involved in various artistic pursuits including Hip Hop music, poetry, stand-up comedy, acting, and authorship, with his literary work yet to be published.
His journey into music began in 2010 when he discovered his vocal talent while entertaining his toy monkey, Danny. Mr. Original first graced the stage at the age of 12, performing a culturally significant traditional dance known as Liphotha. In 2014, he participated in the Mr. and Mrs. Mabathoana competition, earning the title of First Prince.
From 2014 to 2019, he was recognized as a dancer under the name “Rexhino” and established the “H²0 Dance Crew” in Mohale’s Hoek, specializing in Sbhujwa dance. In 2019, he co-founded the Local Arts and Culture Youth Forum (LAACYF) in his hometown, advocating for the recognition of talented youth in Mohale’s Hoek and beyond.
In 2021, he made a triumphant return to the stage as a Hip Hop artist and stand-up comedian. As a passionate advocate for humanitarian rights and a strong proponent of law, he took a stand in 2022 against the previous government’s forced vaccination policies, collaborating with Advocate Fusi Sehapi through the Christian Advocates and Ambassadors Association Lesotho.
Their efforts culminated in a victorious legal battle, earning them legendary status. One of his most notable performances occurred on March 30, 2023, when he delivered a compelling Pan-African poem at the Botho University graduation ceremony. He continues to make waves on stage alongside fellow rapper Dizzy Hop, who plays a crucial role in his artistic development. In his own words, “This is only the beginning for Mr. Original; greater days lie ahead.”
