-Likuena, the Lesotho Senior National team, is set to face off against Central African Republic (CAR) in a highly anticipated showdown on Thursday. As the team gears up for this crucial match, they have reported for a residential camp at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena on Monday, showing their determination and commitment to bring home a victory.

After a 3-1 defeat in the first leg against CAR in September, Likuena will be determined to redeem themselves and seek revenge on the pitch. The upcoming match, will take place at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, will provide the team with the advantage of home support, even though the game will be held behind closed doors.

LeFA has expressed excitement about the match, noting that the team has been working diligently and is well-prepared for the challenge. Head coach Leslie Notsi has been focused on refining the team’s tactics and strategies, with the goal of securing a vital victory against CAR. The players’ determination and enthusiasm were on full display during their first training session on Monday.

In addition to the local players, Likuena’s foreign-based players have joined the camp, bolstering the team’s depth and experience. They arrived over the weekend and are eager to contribute to the nation’s success. The solidarity and unity within the squad, despite the mix of local and foreign-based players, reflect their shared passion and commitment to representing Lesotho on the international stage.

The team will leave for Bloemfontein on Tuesday, where they will have the opportunity to fine-tune their preparations before the match. This will give them a chance to get acclimated to the pitch and the surroundings. Furthermore, the team’s management has organized a friendly match against a local team in Bloemfontein to simulate the conditions they will face during the actual match.

The final group B match against Morocco is scheduled to take place in November, but the LeFA has decided to use the opportunity of being in the region to fly the team to Morocco for their final preparations. This will not only provide the team with the chance to train in similar conditions as they will face against Morocco, but it will also boost their confidence and morale as they embark on their final match of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.

The team’s coach, Leslie Notsi, has expressed his confidence in his players, stating that they have worked hard and are ready to take on the challenge. He has also emphasized the importance of discipline and unity within the team, highlighting that these are the key ingredients to success. The team’s strong camaraderie and determination to represent their country to the best of their abilities is evident, and their coach has no doubt that they will make Lesotho proud.

As the team gears up for this crucial match, Basotho are to rally behind Likuena and support them in their quest for victory.

However, Likuena’s troop into camp ahead of their CAR showdown is a promising sign of their determination and commitment towards securing a win for Lesotho. With their strong teamwork, discipline, and passion for the game, Likuena is ready to take on CAR and emerge victorious. Let us all show our support for the team and wish them the best of luck as they represent our country on the international stage.  So, let us all join hands and cheer on Likuena as they strive for success in this crucial AFCON 2025 qualifier.

The journey towards retribution has begun for Likuena, as they intensify their training efforts at the Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena. With vengeance on their minds and a burning desire to avenge their previous defeat, the squad sets their sights on their forthcoming face-off with Central African Republic.

The stage is set, the troops are ready, and the battle lines are drawn. Only time will tell if Likuena’s vengeful fury will manifest into a glorious triumph on the pitch.

For Likuena, the opportunity to face Central African Republic once again offers a chance for redemption and a chance to prove their mettle as a team. The previous defeat was a hard pill to swallow, and the players are determined to turn the tables this time around.

The intensive training camp serves not only to sharpen their skills and tactics but also to fuel the fire of motivation within each player. Every drill, every scrimmage, and every strategy session is a reminder that this match is more than just a game –
