MASERU – Lesotho’s music scene shines bright as the Minister of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture partners with Melodious Music Awards for the inaugural National Music Awards!

This landmark event not only recognizes the achievements of the music industry but also serves as a platform to promote and preserve the cultural traditions of Lesotho with 28 awards.

Honoring and Empowering Basotho Talent: Minister of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, Hon. Motlatsi Maqelepo has thrown his full support behind the National Music Awards, calling for local businesses to also embrace this celebration of talent and creativity. He stressed the importance of nurturing and showcasing the diverse artistic heritage of Lesotho, urging companies to invest in the country’s cultural landscape.

From unexpected surprise to moving tribute: Award recipient Mrs. Puseletso Seema was visibly moved as she took the stage, accepting her accolade, she mentions that she never expected this recognition. She thanks Queen Mamohato for making her feel at home in Lesotho.
