MASERU – 19 year old Rhea Singha has been awarded the title of Miss Universe India 2024 on Sunday and, will represent the nation at the upcoming global Miss Universe 2024 competition. The final event of Miss Universe India 2024 took place on September 22 in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Singa was crowned Miss India Universe 2024, a luminous gem set in the rich tapestry of Indian culture. With her poised elegance, captivating charm, and a radiance that shone brighter than the stars, Rhea made her mark as the new standard of Indian beauty, a symbol of grace and poise that embodied the quintessential spirit of her country.

She expressed her gratitude, stating, “Today I have achieved the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am incredibly thankful. I have put in significant effort to reach a point where I feel deserving of this crown. The previous winners have been a great source of inspiration for me.”

The title grants her the privilege of representing India at the upcoming global Miss Universe pageant.

For the finale, Rhea dazzled in a shimmering peach-golden gown. During the swimsuit segment, she chose a metallic red bikini, and for the costume round, she wore a striking white-red-yellow ensemble complemented by a veil. Additionally, she carried a Shivling in her arms.

The event featured the esteemed actress and Miss Universe India 2015, Urvashi Rautela, who served as a judge. She expressed her confidence, stating, “India is poised to reclaim the Miss Universe crown this year.” She commended the contestants, remarking, “The winners are exceptional. They will represent our nation admirably at Miss Universe, and I am optimistic that India will secure the Miss Universe title once again. All the participants have shown remarkable dedication, hard work, and beauty.”

With this prestigious title, Rhea Singha is now gearing up to represent India at the Miss Universe 2024 competition, scheduled to take place later this year.

However,   Lesotho’s display of feminine grace and poise, Refiloe Makoe, a vision of loveliness, rose like a phoenix above the other breathtaking contestants to claim the coveted title of Miss Lesotho 2024. The Victory Hall, pulsed with excitement as Refiloe’s name was announced, sending waves of cheers and applause rippling through the crowd. She also won M100 000.00 prize packages, she also secured a 3-months paid Internship at Revenue Services Lesotho.

Yet, the competition was stiff, as Nthabiseng Lebona and Palesa Leanya, the first and second runners-up, respectively, displayed their own unique allure, setting the stage ablaze with their talents and beauty.

In a sparkle of royal glory, Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso and Princess Senate Mohato Seeiso descended upon the competition like shimmering stars, their presence adding a glimmer of magnificence to the already wonderful event. Their radiance, a reflection of the rich history and tradition of Lesotho, was a testament to the grandeur of the Miss Maseru competition, elevating the evening’s festivities to a level of regal sophistication.

Refiloe, like a vision of grace and elegance, charmed her way to the coveted crown, captivating the audience with her unrivalled poise and composure. As the winner, she shone like a star, a beacon of beauty and talent that left the audience spellbound.
