MASERU – On the heels of Lesotho’s noble opening venture into the TotalEnergies 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, its trusted leader, the Lesotho Men’s Senior National Team Coach Leslie Notši, embarked on a journey of three-day course to the storied lands of West Africa, his course set from the desert sands of Morocco. He is expected to be back on Saturday.

He will be attending the CAF License Coaching Diploma Refresher Courses as the first ever coach to undergo the training in Lesotho.

The coach’s journey was punctuated by memories of Likuena’s spirited encounters against Central African Republic and the formidable Moroccan squad, reminding the pride and determination that had carried Lesotho’s players through the receptacle of competition.

The memories of Likuena’s early fixtures against Central African Republic and the admired Moroccan team serve as beacons of courage and fortitude, reminders of the team’s unwavering spirit and the enduring hopes of a nation. Through these recollections the coach, filled with the spirit of Likuena’s trailblazing efforts in Morocco and the keen hopes of his homeland, navigated the ever-changing currents of African football, drawing strength from the resilience of his players, their dogged determination in the face of adversity, and their unwavering commitment to the beautiful game.

Like a captain steering his ship through stormy seas, the coach carried with him the echoes of Likuena’s African adventure, the promise of its burgeoning talent, and the weight of expectation as he charted his course towards the next phase of his team’s journey.

He will join an esteemed gathering among 50 of fellow coaches from the African continent in Abidjan, to partake in the prestigious Symposium. In the Ivory Coast, the coaching fraternity will converge, exchanging ideas and insights amidst the afterglow stirring achievements in the TotalEnergies 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, masterminded by the tactical wizardry of Emerse Fae.

The CAF Coaches Symposium, held in the iridescent Abidjan, will provide a platform for a deep-dive into the strategic and tactical acumen that drove the performances of African national teams in the landmark TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 rated by the best AFCON in the history of the competitions.

Widely hailed as the apex of the competition’s illustrious history, the 2023 edition will serve as the focal point of discussion, dissecting the ingenuity, teamwork, and raw talent that captivated audiences and delivered a tournament for the ages.

In the luminous heart of Abidjan, the CAF Coaches Symposium will offer a rare opportunity for Africa’s brightest coaching minds to delve into the intricate inner workings of the continent’s elite football teams, unearthing the secrets to their success during the historic TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023. Praised as a zenith of the tournament’s storied legacy, the 2023 edition is a lodestar for conversation, illuminating the brilliant minds and indefatigable skills of Africa’s finest footballers.

 Notši having been enriched by the intellectual feast that was the CAF Coaches Symposium in Abidjan, will return to the fertile soil of Lesotho on Saturday. Upon his arrival, he will join an illustrious cohort of coaches from both Lesotho and beyond its borders, all of whom will partake in a pioneering CAF A License Coaching Diploma Refresher Course, the first ever to be hosted within Lesotho’s borders.

For three enlightening days, renowned CAF Instructor Serame Letsoaka will guide Lesotho’s coaching fraternity through the intricacies of the CAF A License Coaching Diploma Refresher Course, an opportunity to hone and refine their skills at the highest level. Among the cohort of coaches will be some of Lesotho’s most celebrated footballing luminaries, including Lehlohonolo Seema, assistant coach Bob Mafoso, and the prolific former players Morena Ramoreboli and Mark Harrison.
