Maseru – The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA), through its Competitions department held the 16-Premier League clubs to a one-day FIFA cconnect refresher workshop at LeFA headquarters in Maseru last week.
The workshop was facilitated by LeFA Competitions Manager Ms Teboho Letseka along with Mrs Lerato Nts’oereng. The department, on the same day held A-Division newcomers Liponono, Lits’ehlo and Rangers for the Online Club Licensing training following their promotion from the B Division. This will be the first season that the three clubs register through the electronic tool designed by CAF to oversee the Club Licensing and Stadium inspection process for continental and domestic competitions.
The training further extended to the LeFA Club Licensing Committee, who will be working hand-in-hand with the LeFA Competitions department during the registration period, which is already in full swing.
FIFA Connect and Club Licensing opened on June 15th while the players registration platform (FIFA Connect) opened on Monday June 24, 2024 and will close on September 6th at 17h00.
