Maseru – Lesotho national team head coach Leslie Nots’i has announced his trusted 23-man squad for the upcoming Cosafa tournament in South Africa.

The boys reported for training at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena on Wednesday last week.

There are significant but few changes in the squad from the group that was assembled to play Rwanda and Zimbabwe in the 2026 World Cup African qualifiers earlier this month, with the number trimmed from 25 to 23.

Notable omissions are of Bantu FC midfielder Thabo Lesaoana, Matlama FC right back Mohai Mohai, and Botswana-based winger Neo Mokhachane. There’s only one new addition, with Upington City’s Thato Sefuli replacing Mohai in defense.

The 2000 and 2023 finalists, Lesotho, are in Group C along with three-time Champions Angola, one-time Champions Namibia, and the Seychelles. They will kickstart their campaign against the Islanders on June 28th at Nelson Bay Stadium at 15:00.

Likuena were runners-up in the 2023 edition of the tournament held in Durban, where they lost 1-0 to Zambia in the final.

Below is a full list of Likuena squad:

Goalkeepers: Sekhoane Moerane, Ntsane Molise, Tankiso Chaba
