Funded by USAID, Khutlo activity, working under Sonke Gender Justice, is facilitating a training on Gender Transformative Approaches (GTA)

In an intimate workshop organized by Sonke Gender Justice,

Representatives from Government Ministries, CSO and Media have come together to discuss issues of gender transformation and inclusion.

Gender transformative approaches seek to challenge gender inequality by transforming harmful gender norms, roles and relations, while working towards redistributing power and resources equitably.

The training brought to attention the need to promote human rights, gender transformation and inclusion of all people regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Furthermore, the training capacitated the participants to challenge harmful traditional practices and norms that perpetuate gender-based violence, stigma and discrimination.
