“Delight Supermarket”

Delight Supermarket which is an all Basotho franchise supermarket has officially launched one of its very first store located in Khubetsoana Berea at the DLM Complex.
Due to the high demand of a value mart in the area the store management decides to open shop in khubetsoana in order to address the constant need of an affordable grocery supplier without having to travel to town.
Speaking at the launch Delight Supermarket chain Manager Mr Mokete Motjopi said they were delighted to open shop in khubetsoana as the neighbourhood was a large urban market which needed to be attended to. He said as a conglomerate it had come to their attention that in most villages in the country there mostly existed typically small village shops which couldn’t match the highest of standards in terms of service, and being culturally orientated as they are.
“Our mother company is called Jabula Giants Investment which is an all Basotho Corporate in which Delight Supermarket subsequently exits under, our intention over and above is to see and prove that local Basotho businesses grow and thrive in the current economic ecosystem.
“We are aware that most of the shops in our townships can’t compete with other foreign franchises, especially when it comes to products and services, so we are here to offer our people that high quality shopping experience. We provide a clean service, a clean environment and an excellent shopping experience at an affordable price.
“We are definitely going to be providing quality products and we also want to sell proudly Basotho products so that we give a platform to our local producers so they can also benefit from this great model. As you will see we have big brand products in our stores like Coca-Cola which we are selling at very affordable prizes.
The opening ceremony was marked with various events and promotions where shoppers won a collage of hampers after purchasing some of their favourite products.
