The Lesotho Football Association (Lefa) recently accredited 26 coaches after completion of their CAF A license course that was held at Lesotho from June last year.
A total of 17 coaches were handed their certificates at a ceremony held at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena recently and there is hope that this will result in improving local football. The course had coaches from Lesotho, Botswana and South Africa.
The Lefa technical director, Lehlohonolo Thotanyana told Informative Sport that this is the first of batch of coaches to obtain this high CAF qualification in Africa. He also said the Lesotho premier league would not face any difficulties in future with such highly qualified coaches.
