US Embassy awards over M 220k in grants

The U.S. Embassy in Maseru through the BAM Group Foundation and with the help of the U.S. Exchange Alumni Association awarded a total of $17,000 (M223,913) in grants at an award signing ceremony held at the American Corner in Maseru last week. The grantees included 8 alumni of U.S government exchange programs.

This is in direct contrast with the views held by those with a low-self esteem, who according to Rosenberg and Owen (2001) are likely to be troubled by failure and tend to exaggerate events as being negative.

Wow, what insight! Due to the confident persons inclination towards positive outcomes, they are likely to garner more results and hence better outcomes then “the negative self talker” with low self esteem, not because of a key difference in talent or maybe even skill, but simply because the guy with confidence tries more times.
